I want this gun so bad... the bore axis is lower than any other pistol to manage recoil. Too bad it's like, $5k to get one.

Yep. I like revolvers, but they are not practical when you have auto loaders.

I like low maintenance guns that don't jam, gimme a wheel gun over a mag any day.

Yeah, my dad's generation is worried about jamming too. These post 1990 auto loaders really just work if you keep them clean (and some if you don't). Plus clearing a jam is a skill; you can practice it.

In 40 years of shooting, I've never had an Auto jammed. Except once a Ruger P85 and that was just recently I was shooting some cheap ammo that I got during this ammo shortage. But that SOB jammed hard. A gunsmith at the range showed me a trick, but you have to be very careful. Have to push the slide back from the front on something hard, preferably on wood.

As long as you don't limp wrist it and keep them lubed, almost all modern auto loaders are completely reliable. As you said, cleaning isn't even a requirement. I've seen some absolutely filthy pistols that shot multiple mags in a row no problem. They just need some extra lube.
