Nope. He did 3 tours in vietnam though for Air Force. NEVER crashed. Ended up full bird colonel (now retired), Wing Commander. Travelled a LOT (overseas). Didn't see him much. Great uncle got his brains blown out all over the Pacific in WW2. His service photo looks almost exactly like my senior high school photo.

Yeah. I forgot. Expunged my intel on him once he died I guess. ANyway my uncle had NO such "free tickets" but STILL ended up on a FAT pension, and he DID drop his ORDINANCE (can't land with) on WATER BUFFALO and told it to us like it was funny (gallows humor I guess, was told). Warrior mode is DIFFERENT than civilian mode I suppose. Necessary. anyway ORDINANCE is shells, and missiles and bombs and shit like that. Guns are guns.
Oh also. Uncle and Great uncle were NOT related (by blood)...never met either Obviously.
