It definitely can be when things aren't in stupid mode. Loading for volume if you shoot 2 gun or idpa can be a saver for sure. It can also be more expensive than factory made when you start chasing that perfect load. You will spend some money right up front for the equipment but if you keep at it it will eventually pay for itself. I tried it but after about a month I came to the conclusion that it wasn't for me and I'd rather pay the premium on factory loads.
