Corrosive ammo is honestly not that big of a deal. The ammo itself is not corrosive. It is the potassium salts found in the primers. They are hygroscopic and absorb water from the atmosphere which can cause rusting and corrosion. Bottom line is run some ballistol down the barrel and get over it. Most guns lived on a diet of the corrosive stuff for their whole lives and they are fine.

Yeah I plan on getting surplus, I always clean guns after every usage anyways.
