New or old? My new Marlin 336 sucked dick.
I got mine back around 1993 or so. I've never had any issues with it, aside from stupidly disassembling it once, and THEN had to figure out how to put it back together. A lot more complicated than an AR.

Never disassembled mine. Sold it after six months or so. Never buying another newer Marlin.

Newer marlins suck, I've heard shit reviews from a few friends. Buy an older one where you can.

I guess that's one good thing about not having a lot of money back then, I had to buy an older used one. It's a shame that the newer ones suck, apparently they were pretty good back in the day. Way of the world, I guess.
