I have a Ruger SR9c and it feels better than my G19. Nice guns for the price if you want a manual safety.

A buddy of mine has one too. I got to shoot it a few weeks ago. Very enjoyable once I got used to the grip.

Yeah it made me a Ruger fan, especially their pistols and bolt guns.

I used to have a number of Glocks. I never should have taken them deep sea fishing with me. Maybe I'll look into buying a Ruger SR9E.

Recommending Taurus and SCCY to people just cause they're cheap should be a crime. Your life is worth more than $150 folks.

A friend of mine loves his SCCYs. He has quite a few of them.

They're one of the cheapest pistol manufacturers for a reason. They're well known for failing when you need them and horrible quality issues.

I didn't say I'd buy one, just that a buddy of mine is happy with his. My EDC is a Glock 48.

are you circle jerking what the internet says or have you actually had one fail on you?

It's not so much how cheap the gun. Better question is which ones use the most affordable ammo.

Look, if you plan to get a gun and be effective with a firearm -- the cost of shooting the gun to become proficient with it will heavily outweigh the cost of the gun. Between ammo, educated training, holster, magazines, and the gun you are actually looking at $2k in expenses. If you take it seriously.

But if shoving a $150 POS into your pants with a cheap nylon holster is your thing, shoot (suit) yourself!
