Having that many guns is kind of a pain in the ass. The point of having lots of different rifles is different purposes for each gun. So youll have different loads that work best for each gun, different optics, different zeros and general theories and styles of use, have to get them all dialed in which takes a lot of experimenting, then you have to remember how theyre all zeroed, you wont use most of them very often so youll have to write up cheat sheets or program the gun and its load into a kestrel or some shit. Youll have to stockpile ammo for each gun, have spare mags for each that uses a magazine, lotta shit to deal with really. Handguns are a easier as theyre close range weapons. But too many rifles can be a pain in the ass. Ive tried a couple times to reduce my collection but it seems for every 2 i sell, 3 more find their way into my home.
I want that kind of pain in the ass. The point of having lots of different rifles is fun and wealth storage! I only need ~5 or so primary firearms to cover nearly any situation that could pop up. Those would be kept perfect and muscle memory would be right on for those. The rest just need to be kept in storage condition until one wants to have fun with whichever one (best is shooting with family & friends) then clean and put back.
We each have our own methods and desires though!
