Before you can purchase long gun in the state you must obtain a Firearms ID card, and if you want to buy a handgun, you’ll have to first obtain a pistol purchase permit. That allows you to purchase a single handgun, but in order to receive it you’ll need to provide a host of documentation to local police, including character witnesses in some jurisdictions.

Every additional handgun you want to buy requires a new pistol purchase permit. And all of this is in addition to the NICS check done at the gun store when you actually make the purchase.

Enjoy that shit you liberal faggots. Last gun I bought was left in my FFL's mailbox, no signature even.

New Jersey has some of the worst (most stringent) gun laws in the nation. There is much talk about bills being readied in the state legislature to crack down even more.

I don't mind liberals cracking down on their own rights. Problem is it will be nationwide soon.

Problem is it will be nationwide soon.

Yep. It starts where it's safe to do so then spreads like a wildfire.

NJ doesn't have the 2nd Amendment. You need a permit to purchase signed by the local police chief and they slow walk that shit for months. Took me 9 months from filling out paperwork to receiving the permit to purchase and that was 15 years ago. Then you get a whole 30 days to make your purchase or the permit expires. I used to call them the "People's Republic of NJ". Fuck them faggots up there.

It took me about 5 weeks from start to finish and you have 90 days to make your purchase. The PRNJ does not understand the meaning of the word, "infringed."
