I had a Bushmaster Carbon-15 hand-me-down. Upper receiver cracked from shooting it (because it was plastic). Afterwards I smacked it with maybe a medium-light force against a workbench and it shattered like a toy. Never again.

They used to be a way better company, then they where bought out by some conglomerate, which started cutting corners and producing trash. I bought a s&w mp sport for 500 and have run it like hell with no issues.

Yeah mine really was the worst, complete with that giant sightless gas block. I upgraded to BCM right after.
