If you're in shape (narrow waist, wide shoulders) you can carry a G19 year round AIWB. Hell some carry full size CZs.

And practicing with snap caps helps get the feel for it, guns don't go off by themselves.

AIWB is probably the carry method that prints the least. I will definitely grant you that. I'm in good shape, but not great shape, so it's not as comfortable as it could be. (And yes, I'm working on getting in better shape every day.)

Well carrying a big blaster is good motivation. But CCW is different for everyone, I had to try different positions, holsters and guns before I got it right. And I was hesitant about AIWB for a long time too but damn if it isn't easy mode and draws fast too. Also driving is no prob.

Who wants to carry a 20 pound behemoth tucked in their pants? (I already have one of those. Hahahahahahah.)

I'm very comfortable with my G48 behind my right hip. I will definitely give AIWB a try when I'm better able to.
