Oppenheimer certainly never took a nuclear bomb in the face, but he sure knew a great deal about nuclear bombs
I simply commenting on the handgun cant take down a person.
well, like in all police shootings you dont wait until the guy is right on top of you. you always aim center mass. so unless you hit the heart etc the person will still run at you. This why a person with a knife etc is dangerous to defend yourself against, and why they get get shot and dont use tazer because they can fail.
then there is your own adrenaline that kicks in that affect your aim.
I didnt say he didnt know his shit, its just that it threw me off in that statement
I see what you mean, at the same time it's true what he says in the beginning "don't expect the target to fall before the second or third shot" or something of that effect, talking about the 9mm round
Of course this isn't a valid reasoning when you're shooting at a 5 years old kid. So we're going to start with the premise that, the target is tougher than you, or at least as tough as you are, physically speaking. Also, the target is drunk. Not completely drunk rolling under the table, just drunk enough to feel like able to punch on anything. He too will get his adrenaline rush, and that's going to increase his resistance/speed/strength and overall physical performance. Also, he's black, so you can add something like a 15%/20% bone density bonus, conservative estimate, compared to your average caucasian https://pic8.co/sh/8eFExX.jpeg
So yeah, I haven't brought amphetamines on the table, yet
