Have you ever used/handled/inspected a something with a Cerakote coating? I have been up close and personal with both Cerakote and Mil-spec coatings and I think Cerakote is vastly superior but much more expensive. But don't take my word for it. There are countless videos of very scientific test comparing Cerakote to other coatings.
