Believe it or not it takes much less time to complete a pistol frame than you'd think. My first one too an hour just to finish the polymer portion. Now I can build a complete working handgun in maybe 45 minutes and you'd swear it came from the factory.

Lol. You sound like me. I've been in construction for most of my adult life, specializing in cabinets and woodworking. When it comes to learning about new building techniques, my brain is a sponge. And like you, I usually dive head first into a new topic.
