A buddy of mine has several of them. They're his go-to carry pieces.

I'm not sure I'd like the optics in a carry piece. I'd have to see how it feels/fits in the holster.

Optics on a carry piece seems odd to me too, but to each his own. I have them on one of my guns but it's not what I would carry around every day.
