On top of those two examples of how it seems this person shouldn't write about firearms...the case is moot on most of what they discuss. The main differences is ammo weight vs capacity vs stopping power vs compatibility (which this author doesn't even touch on for the ar10/lar308 platform as a con).

Long/heavy ar15s and short/light ar10s are a thing.
