i think around here in minnesota you cant because alot are farmed for christmas or lumber/paper. well unless in your property. its just a matter of not getting caught. i dont wanna be to specific publicly but most if every park/forest here is leave no trace. you can hunt on them tho but minnesota has zero shortage of pine trees, way up north it is a little different because no one lives there... haha
