Don't talk to neighbors or coworkers about guns. Don't post anything on social media about guns. It's bullshit, but do not put yourself at extra risk. You really need to feel someone out before letting them know you are a gun owner. An please don't put gun stickers on vehicles either. That's also a good way to get targeted by burglars.
