I fixed it, mostly with a carver magwell and a beaver grip add on. Yeah, yeah its heavy now for a glock. I have replaced almost every part. The transition from a basic 45 (my fav) to the glock isnt a problem anymore though.

government 45 is by far best, personally I use a customized para 45. But the glock doesnt feel funny or hold at a dif angle now.

I have to ask: What is the appeal of a 45 over 9x19, .40, .357 sig, or 357mag/.38? I've tried shooting it many times, and I always feels like it has far too much recoil for the performance it offers

I used to shoot competition. Its hard not to try to make firearms better. Or anything else really.

I have had this one a long time.gen 2. Its still the one that goes with me everyday.
