I've shot a 10 gauge 3 1/2" Magnum double barrel shotgun that my uncle had for turkey hunting. OMG, did that kick like a mule! Worse than a rifle!
I inherited my dad's .308 Enfield and 30.06 Springfield. Dad made a custom stock for the 30.06, bought a beautiful AA grade unfinished stock, checkered and finished it himself. My prized possession.
I keep trying to convince my father to sell me his .357 stainless Magnum revolver. He hasn't shot that in probably a decade and his response is "when I die". He's amazed I want nothing to do with his .357 Colt Python. But to me that thing should never be shot because they weren't made all that great back in the '70s. I would like to re-nickel it though and put it in a case.

He would kill me if I took the gun without him knowing. It would have to be a Father's Day gift that was planned. It wouldn't be that hard either. I just have to contact Colt and see what it cost to renickel it. Boy would I be pissed though if those assholes lost that gun.
