That’s not an answer, it’s a question.
You can’t answer the simple question of why you want a gun.
How odd. It’s almost as if you’re afraid to tell me.
Why won't you answer the question? It's a simple question. Are you afraid to answer it? When you start answering questions maybe I'll think about answering yours. So why wouldn't I, or anyone, want a gun?
You wouldn’t want to own one if you’re not fearful of people. You wouldn’t want to own a gun because gun culture propagates homicide rates. You wouldn’t want to own a gun because it may be used against you.
Now, why would you want to own a gun?
Gun culture doesn't propagate homicide rates. That is false. If America removed black and brown people our homicide rates are lower than Finland which is one of the lowest homicide rates in the world. You don't have to be fearful of people to want to own a gun. That is false. You could want to own a gun for any number of reasons. The idea the gun could be used against you being an issue is an idiotic statement and baseless fear mongering. If you have a gun you are much less likely to be killed by a larger or more aggressive person who is intent on harming you. I've lived through a disaster where looting occurred. When the governor placed an emergency open carry and stand your ground law into place the looting stopped and nobody extra died. If everyone in a liquor store has guns you will think twice about pulling yours out to rob it. Everything you have stated is simply incorrect magical thinking and pilpul bullshit. You aren't good at this and your need for the vague sense of accomplishment and validation gained by trying to win some unthought out internet argument stems from your deep seeded insecurities and self loathing. You aren't as smart as you think, and when you realize that your life will become happier.
I want a gun because I like guns.
