Few years ago, I started New Country Project (newcountryproject.com). Initially was on Reddit, but when I brought it over to Voat the popularity exploded by comparison.

After a couple years of research, it was clear that there was no easy way to start a country. So, Goat's Gulch (like Galt's Gulch from Atlas Shrugged) was born on Voat, since the mascot is a goat.

Goat's Gulch is a libertarian/anarcho capitalist themed idea to have communities of mostly like minded people living near eachother. I have 10 acres out in West Texas that have no building codes, restrictions, etc. Not a bad place to start legally, but the weather is way too hot for me. Eventualyl, I'd like to start a Goat's Gulch up in Idaho. TGH (not sure if he's on Poal) has Goat's Gulch Oregon.

This is just a meetup to shoot things and build a community.

I don't know if I'll personally start anything lasting down in Van Horn, but I hope to in Idaho. I don't do well with the heat there. But, it's nice in the winter.
