UPDATE: Now postponed, not certain what the date will be.
Looks like Columbus Day moved a week later than the past couple of these, want to keep these meetups the weekend after Columbus Day.
I'm currently up in Fort Collins, Colorado with my parents, likely for the summer. I'd like to head back down to Van Horn in October and hopefully meet a few of you out at the land.
Hopefully this one will have a amateur radio presense. At a minimum, UHF or VHF simplex (there's no repeaters that make it out to Van Horn as far as I can tell). Would love to do HF as well if I can get the gear (and maybe licensing).
Certain topics / ideas for the weekend:
- Shooting, of course.
- Camping.
- Eating.
- Riding motorcycles.
- Watching for illegals. Setting up a web camera? Thermal Imaging? etc.
