Those are all from my property about 12 miles east of Van Horn. The soil definitely varies from there, but that one is part dirt and part sand. There's a fracking sand plant a little ways from my property, so that might give you some ideas from there.
I think Fort Davis might have some pretty decent soil.
Fracking would undermine underground structures. How do you plan to grow crops? I mentioned a long time ago on some account on voat you could collect and mulch yard waste or have it used as a dump site. You ever look into that?
So they're not fracking in Van Horn yet, just getting the sand. But the area looks like they will probably frack it at some point.
I'll probably store my compostable waste wherever I'm at. If it's bad land, may have to ship in soil to start with. If good land, might be good as it is.
What are your plans for water, as that seems to be the biggest setback
