Any special requests while I'm in the area? Things to see or take pictures of. Will be with my parents. They are thinking about retiring in the area which would be great for me.

Post the poal logo on something!

Do you have any high-res logos or anything good for printing?

@AOU also the logo is an svg so in theory it scales indefinitely.

I can send you a pdf version if you want.

That would be great. Probably won't get to my land this time around, though. If you get it to me in a few minutes I might be able to at least print it off.

Leaving shortly.

Hey! I printed it off but forgot to put it out there. I'm sorry. Still have it in my backpack, hopefully will remember next time.

Bummer. Well I'll wait until next time to see it then.

Blue Origin (blueorigin.com) is out in Van Horn. They're always looking for new people to hire.

Pictures of the soil would be good.

Have you seen this album? Does it help?

I think I might have some other photos on hand. Will check.

I had not but it does so thank you

Great, you're welcome.

Here's the ones I was thinking of: https://imgtc.com/a/7umCBJL6nB

Those are all from my property about 12 miles east of Van Horn. The soil definitely varies from there, but that one is part dirt and part sand. There's a fracking sand plant a little ways from my property, so that might give you some ideas from there.

I think Fort Davis might have some pretty decent soil.

It's neat seeing it again, many will never see that with their own eyes

Agreed. Really unique landscape and a very unknown area.
