Ha, nice. I remember a small town for sale in Wyoming a while back. It was on auction.

There are quite a few towns out there that have only a few or a few dozen people still living in them. One I remember has only one resident left and she's the owner of the tavern. When her husband passed away she became the last person in town.

EDIT: Here's the town / person (travelandleisure.com) I was thinking of.

Ah wow, heh. Nebraska does get pretty remote in places.

I'm thinking about moving to either colorado or Wyoming in the spring.

Wyoming is rough and Colorado is beautiful but politically rough.

Have you spent much time in either?

I'm doing a road trip in Jan to get a feel for both.

Wyoming is extremely windy for the most part. Harsh, harsh winters. The snow blows onto the road. I only know of two counties without building codes / permitting way in the NE corner.

Colorado is goregous and much more livable, albeit a fairly harsh sun for Europeans. The governor is openly socialist and the state is pretty divided. While I appreciate both states, personally I want to check out Idaho.
