My response was literally "wtf."
It's going to cause so much red tape for small producers that the big conglomerates are going to buy up what little is left and then they really will have total control over the entire food supply. I don't know if you follow this guy, but he has been reporting on all the new laws they're trying to push through to stop animal husbandry. Everything, from all angles, is a mess, globally.

It terrifying to consider the full surveillance applications and restrictions such technology will allow. And if you can track a cup of coffee back to a field, imagine a person.
