The west is desperate for a way out of this mess the created. Zelenksky has run out of options and the pressure from the collective west will be coming down on him to force a negotiation with Russia.
I think zelensky vastly over estimates the west's capability to force anything on russia. He seems to believe the west is actually in a position to impose anything on russia, while in reality, they just can't afford to let the current situation remain as it is, to begin with
So he's like "I'm blocking this situation as it is, it's painful for everybody, I know, and that's precisely why I'm doing it. Once you guys finally decide you had enough, you'll have no choice but to start to kick russian asses!"
Something along those lines
And that's how ukraine gets dumped under the bus (by the west), that's how it ends for ukraine
Exactly you hit the nail on the head especially with Zelensky's attitude toward Russia, his thinking that the west will be pressured into doing more to Russia when in reality the west has run out of options with their endless sanctions having no effect on Russia.
In fact Russia is stronger than ever and their ruble is stable after rising considerably it is now falling back to a more manageable position.
The "collective" west have only pushed China and Russia closer together and caused global gtp instability. Just look at our fuel prices and that is from the US to NZ and everywhere in between and now we have food prices rising to dangerous levels soon.
Western politicians with any inkling of sensibility are freaking out about this war.
At the same time, as I stated earlier in a different thread, this situation could turn out to be a blessing in disguise
It's a case of forcing god to do the necessary dirty job no one has the guts to do. It's not going to be pleasant and it's going to be brutal. "Don't like it, then you should have done something about it earlier, now I've no choice, it's the flood. I warned you, but you didn't listen..."

Immediately what you have is ukrainians discovering the joyces of western multiculti in the facilities/areas they get parked in... With the migroids... Lately in sweden, ukrainian women were asked to change the way they dress in order to not provoke males that are from different cultures... I shit you not...

You also have newly arrived ukrainian kids far out performing "french" kids in some french schools... To the point that it made the news...
But those are only anecdotal
Ultimately, what we have is that, maybe putin isn't the hero we want, but the hero we need. Maybe he'll deliver the destruction of the current world order that we need... Since we're incapable to deliver just that, for ourselves, for the sake of the future of white children...
