I'm getting the sense that the powers that be are purposefully escalating, leaving Russia with only bad choices: either ignore continued NATO encroachment or fight back. And fighting back comes with bad optics as we've seen in Ukraine. They want a direct conflict with Russia or possibly even a nuclear exchange. Right now they are laying the groundwork to make it happen. And yeah childless harpies being in power historically has led to the worst wars.
My sentiment too. Malevolent people who would clearly benefit from it at the expense of europe of course, for a start, and pretty much the rest of the world on the not so long run...
Those idiots cheered for biden, while we knew exactly the kind of shit soup he would serve everybody, dems included. There was no fucking way in the world for his presidency to be anything other than a fucking disaster of epic proportions

The country borders Russia and they're talking about joining NATO. Russia said they won't allow it.
After the russo- finnish war, continuation war, soviet occupation after the war. I can see where they might want to join nato.
