I hope you're right. Florida was close to being governed by a democrat and you've got an influx of morons escaping their socialist utopias to move there. Same is happening in Texas. Hopefully the useful idiots learned from their mistakes and will vote accordingly to keep these states red for the forseeable future

They're being weaponized. They've learned nothing.
That is like saying hopeful the viruses that infect their next host cell do not kill it as it undergoes its own maturation process.
Hence, turning red states the same color as the states they fled from is by design and a major reason why their dogma never gets lost.
I recently moved to Florida to escape the blue-state insanity, so did several of my friends. We are all to the right of Attila the Hun. Please don't assume all Florida n00bs are lefties, the opposite is probably true.
