I highly doubt, because a nuclear war can lead to the whole Europe to be unstable. So countries like germany, france, UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland are not going to be happy with it. They have a large influence in world politics. in addition, France, UK, Russia are in the security council as well with veto power. It's more like US is scared of Russia, and spreads disinformation to scare people to be against Russia. So people are going to push their politicians to implement anti-Russian policies in their countries.
