We still have to see how it plays out to be sure…so I still reserve judgment on Elon’s Twatter purchase.

However, within mere hours of some of the posts denigrating him and my retort that he very may well be buying control so to foster free speech, there is news popping up all over the place that he will do precisely that.

I’m not shitposting here, and Elon could turn out to be a shithead.

My point is that because we as a group are naturally cynical AF (and who wouldn’t be knowing what we know?), we tend to look at everything through a negative lens. It’s not only unhealthy for us as individuals, but it’s not intellectually honest.

I’m not saying not to be skeptical. Always be skeptical. But don’t let your skepticism overtake you simply for the fact that you are naturally cynical.

I still believe there are good people in this world who want what’s right..yes, even some people with lots of money are good people.

It wouldn't surprise me if the launches of the starlink constellation were written off as testing or R&D, and beyond the costs to operate the uplink and headends, it's pure profit.

It's interesting how much the government will let you get away with on taxes if you follow the (admittedly complex) rule book.
