I'm a supervisor at a hospital and I'm currently being investigated because some black dude complained about me discriminating against him. His race has nothing to do with my interactions with him because I'm not a Jerry springer episode and know how to act sane in public, especially at work. Mind you, I'm a sole provider for three young children. Why I'd behave in such a juvenile manner with soo much at stake forces me to wonder just how foolish they think I am. If this accusation (there's no proof of racism because there wasn't any) sabotages my career, life and ability to provide I don't know how I'm going to handle that.

Document everything and find a good lawyer.

save all e mail and communication.

Do not forward e mails to an outside address to save them. print them and take the print with you.

Many places have policies about forwarding business email to non business addresses and this could potentially open you to further retaliation.

Or save to a usb dongus and print out at home. Some places keep track of what is printed and when/by who.

Good call. I had forgotten to consider the print server logs...

However a lot if places track USB insertions and those can also be against many of the IT security policies. Which are often used as an easy gotcha to get rid of problem people.

take picture with your own phone of screen for every image then upload at home the images to computer then print out. Unless the screen has a privacy cover that does not permit photo's like the not viewing from side but works if not eyes viewing, I do not know I confess that that is a thing at all, but I'm sure they have camera's that watch offices so a camera would have to be hidden under clothing or in a hat hidden or some other secret way of taking pictures with an in sleeve trigger to make it take the picture. Then it'll be less likely stopped by security or have a visit or get fired for copying images or any info on a company computer no matter what it is.

Hope for the best. There are grim tales out there, and although people may clutter their Facebook pages with BLM shit, when it comes down to it employers want to do what's most convenient for them. Their lawyers already know if there's a legal case. If not - it comes down to whether they want to keep the competent and motivated supervisor, or placate the trouble-maker.

It's too bad that they can't fire someone for a frivolous complaint. If I were you, I'd start looking for a new job. If this is dismissed you'll still have to work with the complainant, and any misstep - intentional or otherwise - can be construed as discriminating against someone who raised a complaint.

Yeah I'd be tempted to sue for slander or defamation, character assassination that lead to loss of income. Even if they see my post history that doesn't prove I mistreated anyone.

What you are describing is called narcissistic abuse and it's what psychopaths, narcissists and pedophiles do to attack people.

You need to learn these tactics that will be used against you!

Every time the accuser, investigator and company use these tactics you need to call it out. And save a record of the abuse. An abuse diary can be admissible as evidence in court. But printed emails help too!!

The hospitals are so deep in this pathological behaviour that they will back off rather than expose their own crimes.

You fight narcissistic abuse by getting proof and calling it out!!!

But make sure you learn these tactics by heart and never let yourself be compromised by them. This is how they attack. They smile to your face and destroy your life behind your back.
