It also bothers me when people don't climb escalator stairs. It's stairs with a speed boost. Let's go!

Fuck yeah. I run up them 1.5 steps at a time (2-1 cadence).

I admit I don't get the joke. The concrete stairs are being painted or something so they can't be walked on, so people are taking the escalator? Should they take the elevator? Ladders?

Them being "out of order" is only because people are too lazy to walk up them.
