I am starting to strongly believe the misspelling in memes is to track their use. "elvensies"

As opposed to just tracking the whole image? Easier to OCR the misspelled word than recognize the entire image (that might have edited borders)?

Example: meme is posted at some fairly normies website. Meme gets modded with misspelling and posted on fringe websites. Anon downloads it and posts it on normie site under real name. Now enemy of normie_anon might be able to tell that normie_anon has an association with ebull_rayciss_transphobic_antisimetic website OMG fire him.
