Seeing fat cats always makes me so sad. There are so many people who think it's 'cute.' Ugh. I work hard to keep mine a healthy weight. I have two that will eat as much as they can and 3 others who take care of themselves. The mix makes it more difficult but it is perfectly doable of you care about your pets.
That is downright animal abuse.
Muh cat has the same thyroid condition as me. Some goycrisps will make us feel better.
When my roommate brought a morbidly obese cat into the house, I put its food up on a table it had to jump 18" to get to. It lost almost 10 pounds in a couple of months.
You know I feed my cat paste anytime she ask. But she's still very petite. She gets a 1/2 cup of kibble a day to snack on, I give her bisque (it's a wet cat food) in the morning and at dinner time. With the occasional smidge of cheese or cream based human food. She likes most dairy products but she gets them rarely and in very small amounts like a fingertips worth.
Edit: if she starts looking unhealthy on a diet she will go
