It was definitely trying to jump. I though it might have tripped since it was unable to see the uneven terrain below its bloated form but when I slowed the playback its attempt to flex its right knee became obvious. As the knee continued to collapse it was unable to bring its left leg forward enough to assist the overtaxed joint.
