You would require a retort designed for larger things

That would be a fun conversation to listen to. "Your wife is going to need to go to the zoo for cremation. They're used to handling things the size of rhinos and hippos. If you didn't want her disposed of like an animal then you should have fed her out of a trough like an animal."

Lol yea would be pretty epic. Most larger cities have different retorts and typically a good place with have one designed for large loads.

I'd imagine most states have laws on not processing human and animal remains in the same retort. They have certifications and inspections where I was working at.

However, there are places that specialize in large animal retorts etc... There are units out there even capable of processing horses.
