Already gone
I had never even considered adding sugar to soda, what in the freshwater hell
I'm going to sue OP. Watching that gave me die beetus.
When I was a kid, my siblings and I were practically raised on soda and sweet tea, none of us ever got overweight by some miracle. We were all at least somewhat active though. My mother, who still today lives on Coca-Cola is not obese, but not fit either and never has been. My father who drank mostly sweet tea has had multiple procedures done for blocked arteries, and has weighed 230-280 for majority of my life. He's since cut most sugar and unhealthy fats from his diet and is currently losing weight.
I used to really like pepsi when I was a kid, but at some point in my teens, I started drinking water predominantly. Today, I almost exclusively drink water. On the odd occasion that I do try a soda or a little more commonly sweet tea, I'm typically displeased with the taste.. its not the same as I remember it being.
Me too. I used to drink Doctor Pepper like crazy, until they reformulated it with HFCS. That gave me bad headaches, so I went to water. Today I have a drilled well and the water is great! I don't like anything else now. Occasionally, I'll buy a cane sugar soda. Everytime I do, I drink a few sips and pour the rest out because they put so much sugar in there and it's too sweet.
Watching that fat whale put 5 tablespoons of additional sugar almost made me puke in my mouth.
My great grandmother used to love Dr Pepper.
I still occasionally do enjoy sweet tea, but I'm very picky about it.. has to be fresh brewed and with the perfect ratio of water to sugar. If it has too much sugar or if its been in the refrigerator too long , it just turns to syrup. Its great with some good barbecue though.
I don't drink (((Soda))).
Malted Battery Acid
Wait!
That's Coke not Pepsi.
