I was in Europe a few years back and went to McD's to get a coffee in the AM. The woman in front of me was so fat, she was screaming at the staff because she wanted sausage biscuits (which they don't have). She was American (sounded like deep south) and I was so mortified that I left the line. I could have helped her by letting her know it wasn't on the menu, but then I thought better of it.
