I think we all know people like that.........eventually you give up trying to help them because they aren't interested in changing. They want to be fat and they want you to wallow in their misery. No thanks.

Exactly. I simply had to stop talking to her because she took everything personally, and she wanted to argue about it.
Sometimes you just need to be humble and work it out, but some are incapable of doing that.

Exactly. People who overcome their weight challenges make a concerted effort to do so. What I've observed is that most don't even try -- they just complain. And walking around the block once a month ain't gonna do it.
