Eh, perhaps. I did get to talk to her a few weeks back, she finally managed to get preggers. So I'm happy about that, now I get to be the cool uncle.

But you gotta maintain that relationship. You can’t be the cool uncle without being the good brother.

People tend to lose track of people outside of their SO (amplified once a kid is in the picture), so if you want to keep it up, it’s gotta be on you. Just because she doesn’t think about keeping it up doesn’t mean she won’t be happy that you did.

We've been through it before while she away at school. Same thing happened when I got married and had a kid. Just needs time to get her schedule set & things will be good again. Anyway, don't want to hijack your thread there. Just kinda reminded me with the I-hop reference.

Hope it gets sorted out, I know what it’s like for relationships to fade once a romantic interest is in the picture
