grizzlies and cubs are a huge red flag, if you ever see a lone bear cub get the fuck out of there. if the mother sees you you will die

Ive found with black bears thats more myth than reality. Several up close encounters with black bears with cubs, one where the cubs sprinted right past me and left me standing between them and momma bear, maybe 30 yards to each. They just want to get their cubs the fuck away from people in my experience. Only aggressive black bears ive encountered have been boars. But grizz, all bets are off. If i can go the rest of my life without getting within 300 yards of a grizz id be just fine with that.
