In the modern age, it's easy to be fat and hard to be fit. Do you compliment people for doing easy shit like taking a walk? No, you compliment them for accomplishing something hard.

Well, yeah, being fat is unhealthy. People compliment their friends for their improvements.

Honestly, this actually depends on the culture. Eastern Europeans will be open with you, as will most East Asians. Had a hapa friend once tell me his Jap granny poked his stomach once as a hint that he needed to stop being such a fatass.

Edit: I believe the words she used while poking him were “you really enjoy eating, hm?”

I am sure this sheep did not bat an eye when their messiah demanded everyone wear three masks.

Of course in polite society I wouldn't insult a lardbucket to their face. Its called manners.

Although I may think your so fat your cereal bowl comes with a lifeguard, I am an adult and have common civilized courtesy, not a toddler who screams out whatever he is thinking.

And yes I would compliment a tubbo who lost weight, as they would/should be proud of their accomplishment as well.

It doesn't mean fat slobs still don't disgust me.

There it is, so amazing to state that people would rather be openly "kind" rather than openly mean, the fatty just hates that the idea of losing weight is a good thing.
