Discounting child deaths, in 1850 the life expectancy for a 20y male was 58. In 2000 this had risen to 75.
Not saying sugar is good... it obviously is bad for you. But to say this is the 'cause of all disease' is absurd. Op is a retard
Processed sugar is directly linked to compromising your immune system. Processed sugar is also directly linked to a number of diseases and conditions that diminish your quality of life and lifespan.
And that statement is a million miles away from 'Sugar causes almost all disease'
A bit much calling OP a retard. Sugar is horrible and causes type 2 DM, obesity, etc. These set off a chain of more complications such as heart disease, hypertension, etc. Probably the most underrated condition because people think that they can rely on insulin shots.
Obviously not the only cause of diseases, but many diseases are self inflicted d/t ignorance or apathy.
Is it tho? What is processed sugar? Do you mean hfcs? You know bacon is processed too, as is butter
Exactly
Excess sugar leads to obesity. Now replace the word sugar with obesity and then you'll understand what OP is saying.
I'm not the one with the comprehension problem.
Sugar is bad
Obesity is bad
Both these things cause a lot of health problems in many different ways.
Neither of these things 'causes almost all disease'. If you think there is a single silver bullet that will fix 'almost all disease' you are sorely mistaken.
Almost all diseases meaning most diseases. That's good enough for me and the data supports it. Research insurance costs associated with fit people especially fit white males. It's negligible. Medical Insurance companies love to ensure physically fit white males. Obesity is the biggest contributor of illnesses. Heart disease and diabetes just to name two.
