Furthermore, beyond the fattedness, have you, as a normal person taken someone to “advocate” for you to a doctor? Why are leftists so goddamned weird
I've done it before myself. It's normal for couples to do that I think anyway, but I do it for my own safety after some bad experiences. After being a victim of medical malpractice (for real, not fatty delusions) I always record doctors appointments, ER visits, ect and usually have my husband on the phone during the appointment. If I didn't have kids I would always have him go in with me, but I go in alone for small stuff. I've done the same for him. I'm not comfortable with doctors touching me at all except to like check blood pressure and whatnot, without someone with me. I think the cruel ones see me as an easy target bc I'm a petite and quiet lady, and the fat ones pick on me out of jealousy. They're less likely to mess with me when I have someone with me, though that didn't help with the worst incident which is why I record too. Even before/after the medical malpractice that almost killed me they have hurt me, made stupid mistakes and said cruel, violent things. Some doctors are just poorly trained, lazy, greedy, or have a mean streak. Especially fat ones, but not always. When you're in extreme pain or attached to an IV it can be difficult to stand up to those types of doctors or call for help. A doctor telling a fat to lose weight for health reasons, or refusing to pretend they have special condishuns to blame on their poor health rather than just bad habits, isn't medical malpractice or abusive though. The hamplanet who made this post is basically mocking the serious issue of medical malpractice.
Lmao that was the part that confused me the most too. Can she not speak for herself? Why does she have to bring a buddy along to advocate for her? "I can't bring my favorite fat person so I have to settle for this other thin person." How about you just go by yourself like a normal adult? Doctors visits really should be private, and the doctor would probably be more honest without a third party there judging everything (which I guess answers my question).
