Those magazines were probably always propaganda. Basically, they publish a constant stream of laughably ridiculous and insane bullshit to establish themselves as crazy schizo rags, so when there is an actual conspiracy or false flag or whatever, they publish stories about those things too, so those real conspiracies are associated with crazy bullshit/fake news.

Yes, that's exactly how counter-intelligence works. Lump operation threatening information into the aliens/flat earth/tinfoil hat realm and it becomes immediately discredited by any 'rational' person. They know people simply validate their information from their authoritian sources and are not intelligent themselves to look deeper and validate the facts.
Labeling information as 'Conspiracy Theory' is their most powerful weapon of informational warfare.
