California is pushing the hardest for so called renewable energy and for the first time a full day's energy supply for the most populus state was supplied by those sources. Whether this is sustainable or not is very much in doubt, but it is happening. If the nukes go off and the sun is dimmed we can expect Cali to be a nightmare scenario. Remember the ports in LA supply half the nation with imported goods.
