It's just as I suspected. "Windfarms" aren't generating power. They're actually giant fans with propellers used to spin the planet. If they were to fail, Earth would stop spinning. The side facing the sun would burn from the constant heat and light. Those on the dark side would freeze to death.

That explains why they are so ridiculously loud.

Wind and solar should require full funding of disposal up front. It would make them less attractive. Of course, tax dollars should contribute to this idiocy in the first place.
