So I like to top off very often. I don't go out of my way to make sure I'm over half a tank. Often, I only need $5 or less to click full. And I get to say hi to the nice older ladies and the nice Asian guy who work there.

Fucking $5 barely moves the needle now. It's frustrating. I may start riding my bicycle into work. Lots of health benefits to that, but roads here were not made for cycling and there are nothing but weed smoking niggers with no insurance driving like maniacs around here. Plus it's 90+ degrees with 100% humidity. Not too fun arriving to work with swamp ass and balls.

Time to make more money.

Always time to make more money.

The Feds don't care about the money to pay the owners off. They can just print up as much as they want.

They closed the pipeline to deny cheap, reliable energy to the American people.

Good case, but if he got $15 billion it just goes against an endless deficit, doesn’t it?

Seems odd that there would be a single owner of an infrastructure piece that probably had elusive rights to travel along multiple states probably using state powers of land condemnation.

That in itself seems like a suspicious situation.

Wonder if he also got an exclusive lease on the world trade center and got a big payout.

Kind of yes, kind of no. TransCanada is a big company that specializes in this sort of thing. It wasn't being built as a public infrastructure project, it was private - which was why it's initial cost was quite high.

They should win this one too....

Orrrrr, has this all just been one big clever money laundering operation from the get go? It’s so fucking hard to tell anymore.

That’s where my mind went the moment I read the article.

Dems back XL in the 2016 and get crushed on it by the bernie bros of the internet. Hilary definitely lost votes over that.

Now the dem position is oil pipeline bad so they shut it down and their buddies collect the payout.

I’m gonna guess a link can be found between the current party in power and the person or Corp that stand to profit off this “lawsuit”

It seems everything big or small is just one big giant exercise in saddling us all with infinite debt that keeps one class’s boot on the neck of the other. The love of money is the root of all evil and 15 billion sure is a lot of extra love thrown at that 28 trillion dollar debt.

It's not money laundering, it's a con, theft from the taxpayers.

Stealing taxpayer money to make look legitimate a payment to an individual or corporation is why I stated it as money laundering, but yeah, it is definitely a con as well. The tax paying working man gets fucked as per usual.
