This isn't new. Dims have always voted in open Republican primaries for what they think is a weak candidate to hope their lefty pile of trash wins. Dim party leaders have always funded the GOP weaker candidates. I do find it interesting they intend to win over Kari Lake. IRL Hobbs would lose wholesale but the fix is probably in.

It's hilarious Dems were helping to fund Kari Lake and Hobbs was "relieved" when she won. Yeah, lots of dirty tricks in politics and this is nothing new, except that it has backfired bigly on them.
